ACCRA, Ghana — The Ministry of Health (MoH) has opened its online recruitment portal for medical officers and dentists belonging to the 36th batch, with eligible applicants given until Thursday, October 29, 2026, to submit their applications.
The recruitment exercise is intended to fill staffing gaps in healthcare facilities across Ghana. According to a notice issued by the Ministry, the portal opened at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27.
The exercise targets medical officers and dentists who have completed their mandatory housemanship and received verification from the Medical and Dental Council.
Qualified applicants are required to apply online through the Ministry’s recruitment portal at mohrecruitment.com.
Applicants must follow the instructions on the website and select their preferred districts and agencies as part of the application process.
Ministry warns applicants against recruitment scams
The Ministry has cautioned prospective applicants against individuals who may claim to have connections or offer assistance to secure employment in exchange for money.
It stressed that the recruitment process is transparent and that applicants are not required to pay any fee to participate.
“The Ministry of Health advises all applicants NOT to make any payment for this process,” the statement said.
Applicants have been urged to use the designated online portal and avoid unofficial intermediaries who promise to influence recruitment decisions.
